Marketing Campaign Materials: Kubo

Our objective:

Produce multiple campaign marketing pieces, including posters, activity sheets, standees, and mini-posters

The challenge:

Deliver all Kubo campaign materials on a limited timeline and budget, keeping in mind we need efficient shipping for multiple pieces of collateral

Our solution:

After speaking with the Kubo team and our production manager, we commingled pieces to achieve economies of scale.

We also modified our production and kitting and distribution processes which saved the clients 30% on the total production cost.

Results:

We worked very closely with the Kubo team to reduce shipping and kitting costs by working smart and offering various production suggestions to reduce costs further.

Display Case & POS: ME to WE

Our objective:

Create various table-top displays for use in multiple retailers that could be customized depending on the season and holiday

The challenge:

Accommodate many different types of retailers, different spaces, various surfaces where the display would have been seen and changing product sizes

 Our solution:

Working with the team at ME to WE, we created multiple header cards that could easily be swapped out depending on the promotional time.

We also used a solid silicone material to ensure it would adhere to any table top.

Results:

We successfully produced a multi-functional campaign that could be reused for different promotional periods and used cost-effective substrates allowing this project to come in under budget.

Direct Mail: Toyota VIP Glove

Our objective:
Create an engaging and premium promotional piece for Toyota VIP clients

The challenge:
Stay mindful of postage costs when brainstorming potential pieces and ensure the glove was presented in a clean and contemporary way

Our solution:
Working with our production team, we prototyped different iterations of the box for our clients. We also prototyped different substrates to ensure the box was under a certain weight which kept mailing costs on budget.

We worked with our client’s creative team to adjust a few elements of the design so we could run it on a smaller press. This was not only more cost-effective in terms of printing but also saved on postage as well.

Results:
We created a premium campaign under budget.

By making modifications to the height, width and the contents of the box, we reduced postage costs by 75% and were also able to minimize costs in other areas.

Pop-up shop: WE

Our objective:

Completely outfit a holiday pop-up shop at the Toronto Eaton Centre/Yorkdale Mall so consumers would be drawn into the space and immersed in the WE brand

The challenge:

Ensure their branded colour of blue was the same on every substrate used and that all materials were easily removable

Our solution:

Working meticulously with our production team, we produced drawdowns on all substrates to ensure they were the same. We then adjusted the CMYK colour breakdowns to ensure the blue matched perfectly on all the substrates.

Results: 

We created a beautiful pop-up shop experience with install and tear down made easy. The shop was so successful that the lease was extended!
